You must try the delicious food at Casa De Vista Alta! The decadent breakfast served post-birding adventure was a revelation, especially with a hot cup of coffee in hand. The views from the beautiful Queen Room with Balcony were breathtaking, and the owner Fernando shared incredible birding insights that'll make any nature lover’s heart sing.

While the stay was lovely, be ready for a little trek to the cabins since they’re a five-minute walk on unpaved trails. For my parents, the broken handrail added a bit of a challenge, and the split logistics between our rooms could’ve been clearer. Still, everything had its charm in the end.

casa de vista alta has amazing food and offers stunning views that make you feel immersed in nature. it's conveniently located close enough to town for a quick trip, but you really feel the beauty of the forest. the suite we stayed in was super comfy, perfect for a couple getting away.
